Davon Carrington is an Oklahoma City based woodwind performer and teacher. He earned his Bachelor’s of Arts from Oklahoma City University and returned for his Master’s in Multiple Woodwind Performance, the first person to receive this degree from any Oklahoma University. Outside of the Science & Arts, Davon can be found performing jazz and classical music and teaching private woodwind lessons across Oklahoma. When he’s not performing or teaching, Davon explores electronic woodwind composition through the uses of effect pedals, loop stations, and synthesizers. In the moments he’s not involved in music, Davon enjoys running and calisthenics, playing with his dogs, and being a foodie at new restaurants.
